Environmental Obligations
The Organics Group is a leader in ammonia recovery services, specializing in the treatment of wastewater and biogas. We have installed projects around the world both to treat high ammonia levels in industrial effluent and to generate power from biogas produced from landfill sites and anaerobic digestion plants. Our advanced engineering ensures that operators meet their environmental obligations.
A Leader in Environmental Engineering
Although Organics works primarily as an EPC contractor, we also supply bespoke, speciality process units. Our objective is to ensure that, working with private businesses and government agencies, we can help to make energy production cleaner and greener.
By promoting the use of renewable energy and natural products, which can only help in the global push for a more sustainable lifestyle, we aim to contribute towards a cleaner, healthier and safer place in which we, as well as future generations, can live.
Project Delivery
Organics has been delivering successful biogas projects for over 30 years. Our focus is on ensuring that the projects are installed to high standards of quality and professionalism. With correct operation and maintenance, our systems are designed to continue delivering over the lifetime of the project.
Exacting site licensing conditions often mean that biogas collection requires the highest standard of environmental control. Landfilled waste can result in significant levels of H2S in biogas. Organics has been delivering biological H2S treatment plant that delivers the required level of environmental protection for over 20 years.
The generation of power and heat from biogas is a common method of ensuring that an environmental problem can be converted into a resource that not only ensures protection of the environment but also provides power for on-site use or export to the national grid.
Hydrogen Sulphide is one of the most toxic of all elements that can accompany the production of biogas, whether it is from landfills or from other industrial processes such as anaerobic digestion of organic material. It can not only be harmful to human health, but it can also result in the loss of equipment by corrosion. Its treatment and control are therefore critical to any industrial process.
Wastewater from palm oil or tapioca, if not adequately treated, can have a highly deleterious effect on the environment and contribute to giving the industry a bad name. This is why ammonia recovery services are important in wastewater treatment. Using biogas collected and processed from this type of project can result in energy independence from fossil fuel.
